Technical Sales Rep (Ruminant) - Midlands
Job Overview
FRS Recruitment are currently working with a leading Agribusiness and Grain Merchant located in the midlands. We are currently seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of Technical Sales Representative for ruminant feedsuffs. Reporting to the Sales Manager the role involves:
Locations: Kildare, Laois, Offaly
Responsibilities & Duties:
- To maintain and develop an existing customer base
- To provide an excellent technical back-up service to farmer clients
- To pursue new sales avenues with potential customers
- To meet and exceed pre-determined sales targets & budgets
- Orderly cash collection in-line with cash-flow projections
- Working with Senior Management to develop new business ideas & strategy
Experience & Skills:
- Agr.Sc qualification or higher is essential
- At least 3 years' experience working in the Agri sector in a commercial role
- Be self-motivated and demonstrate a drive to succeed
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Show a professional attitude in your daily work
- A strong commercial awareness and ability to sell a proven product range
- Knowledge of cereal crop production is an advantage but not essential
- Full clean drivers licence
