Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Overview

My client are a a leading main contractor at the forefront of the construction industry for over 65 years, and they are looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive who will directly support the Director of Human Resources in driving
business growth and transformation pace through day-to-day support including sourcing suitable
candidates, implementing the company recruitment process and the entire recruitment lifecycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection:
· Source suitable candidates to fulfil all vacant positions within the business
· Assist Senior Management with the recruitment and selection process;
· Responsible for all process steps after hiring decision for an employee has been taken.
· Consider staffing logistics and contribute to space planning.
· Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most suitable
candidates.
· Manage on-boarding - manage the overall administration of a new employee's induction
· Preparation of job specifications in conjunction with Management
· Arrange and coordinate candidate interviews in person and virtually
· Ensure 100% compliance with the company recruitment process and policy.
· Manage adequate timelines and expectations for management for new appointments
· Maintain and manage a full applicant tracking system
· Conduct thorough reference checks on all candidates
· Provide a positive experience for all candidates
· Deliver the brand within the company branding guidelines
· Provide interview feedback to all candidates
· Reduce the overall cost of the recruitment process with initiative ideas in sourcing suitable candidates

· Excellent and accurate data entry skills

· Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Good knowledge of UK employment law
· Professional telephone manner
