This is a newly created role due to growth and expansion. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth, while liaising directly with hiring managers to develop job specifications and manage the full recruitment process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Source suitable candidates to fulfil all vacant positions within the business
  • Assist Senior Management with the recruitment and selection process;
  • Responsible for all process steps after hiring decision for an employee has been taken.
  • Consider staffing logistics and contribute to space planning.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most suitable candidates.
  • Manage on-boarding - manage the overall administration of a new employee's induction
  • Preparation of job specifications in conjunction with Management
  • Arrange and coordinate candidate interviews in person and virtually
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the company recruitment process and policy.
  • Manage adequate timelines and expectations for management for new appointments
  • Maintain and manage a full applicant tracking system
  • Conduct thorough reference checks on all candidates
  • Provide a positive experience for all candidates
  • Provide interview feedback to all candidates
  • Reduce the overall cost of the recruitment process with initiative ideas in sourcing suitable candidates

Abilities and Skills

  • Prior recruitment experience from a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • A good understanding of the Data Protection Act
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Professional telephone manner
