Social Worker
Opportunity to join an Adult Mental Health team as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker on a 5-day week basis in Portlaoise and Mullingar with the details below.
Location: Portlaoise & Mullingar (2 separate roles)
Duration: Temporary 6-month contract
start date in July 2023 (Laois)
start date in June 2023 (Mullingar)
Working week: 35 hours Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
- Possess a professional Social Work Qualification
- Be registered as a Social Worker with CORU
- Garda vetted
- Have access to a car with relevant car insurance/tax etc
- 2023 graduates are welcome to apply but must be registered with CORU before commencing in post, if successful at the interview
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with adult service users
- Experience working in a mental health service previously
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and promoting good communication across the care setting
- Experience of an adult mental health placement as part of student placement while attending the postgraduate social work course
