The FRS Allied Health Team is glad to announce that we will be recruiting an enthusiastic Social Worker to provide quality evidence-based Social Work service, which could include an assessment of needs, and a range of advisory, practical, and skilled emotional supports to adults.
Senior Social Worker: HSE Adult Mental Health Services
Location: Portlaoise, Co. Laois
Duration: Temporary 12 month rolling contract - immediate start
Working week: .8 post or 4 day week
Contract hours: 28 hours over Mon - Friday
Qualifications:
- Possess a professional Social Work Qualification
- Be registered as a Social Worker with CORU
- Garda vetted
- Three years' experience post qualification
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working with adult service users
- Experience of working in a mental health service previously
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams and promoting good communications across the care setting
