Site Manager - Galway
We are now recruiting for a Site Manager to work on a civils project in Galway City. It is for a contractor who has vast experience in commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical construction projects.
Responsibilities:
To ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects. Fully understand the company's SHEQ policy/strategy.
Ensure that the project is delivered safely, on time, to a high standard of quality and with high levels of satisfaction.
To manage the designated project on site and achieve the target contributions in accordance with the contract documents and programme.
Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programmed deadlines are met.
Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years relevant experience on the ground experience.
- Must be able to use your own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for projects from start to finish.
- Hons Degree in an Engineering/construction related discipline or strong trades background.
- Familiar with MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
