Site Administrator

Job Overview

Our client a leading building contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Administrator to join their team in Carlow.

Main Duties:

  • Providing general administrative support to the on site team
  • Booking in deliveries to construction site on clients software system & Internal logistics, liaising with suppliers and off-site manufacturing (OSM's)
  • Work closely with procurement department monitoring and coordinating interactions with suppliers
  • Creating requisitions and completing service entries/ Goods receipting to an ERP System
  • Liaising with contracts managers/construction management team.
  • Populating daily permit requests on excel and submitting to client.
  • Ordering materials for various supervisors and office supplies.
  • Plant register and off hire plant.
  • Recording of daily attendance and time sheets
  • Filing of site report sheets, safety audits and memos
  • Coordination and management of the project controls
  • Control of critical documents via the project database
  • Submission and tracking of project documentation
  • General administration duties including data inputting and updating information efficiently
  • Database Maintenance
  • Monitoring and check sign in sheets and delivery dockets

Skills Required:

  • Min of 2 years in a similar position in the construction industry desirable
  • PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Pride in the quality and presentation of work
  • Excellent communication skills
