Shipping Administrator

Job Overview

Our client a busy manufacturing company based in the Wexford / Carlow area have a 9-month full time contract available for an experienced administrator to join their shipping department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of shipping paperwork and documents
  • Inputting data / spreadsheets
  • Answering the phone/ relaying info/ taking messages
  • Invoicing Customers
  • Preparation of customs documentation
  • Document control, ensuring all shipping and freight documentation is accurate/compliant.
  • Problem solving and developing short notice solutions for supplying customers even in exceptional circumstances.


Candidate Profile:

  • 1 years + work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative.
