The Role
Due to continued growth FRS Recruitment are working on behalf of an established Building contractor who are now recruiting for a Setting out Engineer in Kilkenny working on Nursing Home Builds.
Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys and gather data to establish reference points, lines, grades, and elevations for construction activities.
Ensure that all construction work is set out accurately and meets the required specifications and tolerances.
Liaise with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Monitor and report progress of work, highlighting any issues that may impact the project schedule or budget.
Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of surveys, measurements, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or related position.
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
