Rapidly growing, US Multi-national healthcare company in Limerick are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer.
This role will initially be a contract position for the first 12 months paying a very generous rate and you will have the opportunity to work in an environment where achievement is recognised and internal progression opportunities are very much available.
In this role you will have responsibility for the development and execution of plans to continuously improve and optimize product quality and process yield.
This requires the use of process characterization and optimization using designed experiments, problem solving and decision making tools.
Some of the key elements of the Process Engineer role include
Responsible for identification and implementation of process related continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
Leading and working in cross functional teams while demonstrating strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team
Developing and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.
A relevant level 8 degree in Process, Production, Manufacturing, Polymer, Materials, Biomedical or Mechanical engineering is preferred for this role and you will need to have that collaborative mind-set that will help you succeed in a multi-disciplinary team. Ideally you will have 4 years +process engineering experience in the medical device/pharma sectors and have a background in Yield trouble-shooting experience.
To hit the ground running in the Process Engineering role you will ideally also be experienced in the use of tools such as DMAIIC, Six Sigma, SE statistical engineering, DOE and FMEA
