Job Overview
Job Title: Senior Microbiologist
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Microbiologist to join our clients team. As a Senior Microbiologist, you will be responsible for leading microbiology research and development projects, managing laboratory activities, and ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute microbiology research and development projects.
* Develop and optimize microbial growth and purification processes.
* Analyze microbial data and provide technical reports and presentations to management.
* Train and supervise laboratory staff.
* Ensure laboratory activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory activities.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans.
Requirements:
* PhD or Master's degree in microbiology or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in microbiology research and development.
* Experience with microbial growth and purification processes.
* Experience managing laboratory staff.
* Knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines (e.g. cGMP, GLP, ISO).
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
