A leading Irish Construction firm are looking to recruit a full time Senior Health and Safety Advisor in Limerick. The role is best suited to those who have worked on large scale pharma builds in the past. Alternatively large scale manufacturing, medical device or regulatory authority builds. This is an ideal role for a Limerick, Clare or Tipperary based candidate who is keen to secure a full time permanent role in Limerick.
The role will involve the following duties:
- Managing a multimillion euro build
- Working with Health and Safety team onsite
- Directing junior admin assistants as required
- Working alongside Project Management team to ensure a safe working environment is provided for all staff on site
- Reporting accidents as they occur
- Provide safety expertise on a live construction build
The essential candidate will meet the following criteria:
- IOSH Certified
- NEBOSH Qualified
- Degree and or Masters Qualifed in Health and Safety
- 10 years plus experience within Health and Safety
- Keen to work as a Senior Safety Advisor on site
- Happy to work on build aspects of Health and Safety
- Up to date knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 19001, ISO 45001
- IT Savvy
- Team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
