As Senior Engineering Manager you will lead and manage all site and engineering competency activities as well as pioneering engineering best practices.
You will be an experienced people manager who relishes the opportunity to provide leadership to your team and your primary remit will be to ensure process & manufacturing excellence to the plant.
This is a key role in my client's organisation and as such you will need to have a proven track record in the development and delivery of site engineering strategy in the form of roadmaps relating to capacity, systems & technology
Some of your key tasks in this exciting role will include:
· Providing leadership & technical direction while fostering a culture of proactive continuous improvement, lean, innovation, process excellence and problem solving.
· Delivering technical collaboration and engineering alignment in maintaining manufacturing applications and automation systems while working with global enterprise applications and infrastructure teams to ensure the successful implementation of user / business appropriate manufacturing systems.
· Ensure the engineering organisation structure is fit for purpose and implement any necessary changes using an effective change management approach
· Technically challenge and support new product integration to ops, ensuring a robust and scalable process, through strong collaboration with process & technology development teams.
You will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 6 years + experience of successfully creating and managing highly talented, engaged and performing teams. Eexperience in multiple areas / sites/ positions would be highly advantageous for this role.
You will have that business understanding of operations and their impacts on the success of the business allied to a highly proficient engineering mind-set along with a very strong financial acumen.
Finally the Senior Engineering Manager will have both an entrepreneurial spirit for driving the business forward as well as having the relentless drive to deliver on bold and innovative change initiatives.
