Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the retail store ensuring sales/margin targets are achieved. Offering a high level of customer care and attention to detail - selling a full range of trailers and associated products and services
Key responsibilities: Senior Sales Assistant/Supervisor
- Responsible for all aspects of the Store's Team x 4 (Retail Counter and Workshop) and overall Store presentation
- Actively promote and sell product of trailers, associate products, and services on/off-site and over the telephone.
- Business Development/Store Manager informed regarding Store and team performance at all times.
- Ensure there are adequate parts, trailers, and equipment available for customer requirements.
- Assist in the training of new members of staff reporting progress/training needs to the Business Development/Store Manager/HR Department.
- Manage store stock-takes as required by the Company ensuring accuracy and full staff involvement.
- Keyholder for the Store and respond to alarm call-outs where appropriate.
Requirements
- Customer-facing Sales Experience within the equipment, machinery, plant & tool hire, vehicle consumables, or similar
- Excellent organisational and inter-personal skills, ability to work in a busy target driven sales environment
- Keen interest in delivering superb customer service/after sales will be required to carry out this role effectively
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of 4 to ensure sales targets are adhered to
- To be trained and drive a Forklift
- Full clean driving license - Essential with towing license highly desirable
