Sales Executive (Argi sector)

Job Overview

We are seeking a recent graduate for a Sales Executive position for our client, the leading supplier of equipment and consumables to the milling and pelleting industries both in Ireland and in the UK. This progressive company in the agri-trading sector are going through an expansion phase and are looking for an ambitious candidate who is seeking to take the next step in their career.

This varied and interesting role will entail selling, account management, business development and customer service.

The successful candidate will have a business qualification with an agricultural background. You will be commercially focused with an understanding of the needs of this growing industry sector. As a Sales Executive, you will have excellent people skills, strong work ethic, a curiosity and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will contribute to growth and development of the company.

The duties are varied and will entail
Sales of equipment, consumables and service contracts to both existing and new clients.
Establish strong relationships with customers
Working closely with customers to develop new reporting and feedback systems to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high.
Evaluation of data with management and advising clients on further process improvements.
Advise Management on trends and innovations within the sector.
Develop a stock control monitoring system for equipment and consumables held on client's sites
Proactively seek out new opportunities for the business

Candidate profile
Business background with knowledge of agri/ farming sector an advantage.

Ambitious with a strong desire to succeed
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal and demonstrate a capacity to listen.
Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organisation.
Keen attention to details
Strong technical understanding
