Sales and Logistics Assistant

Our client manufactures a complete range of premium quality ruminant feeds and are looking to recruit a Sales and Logistics Assistant.

The position will be based in Lough Egish and you will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.

The key duties:

  • Cover for raw material intake and finished feed dispatch planners.
  • Planning and organising finished feed dispatch to meet customer requirements
  • Liaising with customers, sales reps, hauliers, production on finished feed dispatch
  • Customer order taking and processing
  • Liaison with suppliers, stores and hauliers on raw material stock intake
  • Monitoring stocks of raw materials
  • Planning and organising raw material intake to meet production requirements

Working hours for this role will be Tuesday- Saturday and will include evening hours.

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and an ability to build supportive relationships with colleagues and suppliers alike.
