Regional Logistics Operations Manager - Cork

Job Overview

My client a large grocery chain with over 200 stores nation wide is looking for a Regional Logistics Operations Manager to join their well-established team and to assist them with managing the logistics operations in their distribution centre in the Cork area.

The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring all stores are fully stocked and that all stock is received, stored and delivered on time and in perfect condition. The successful candidate would be working in either the Goods In, Selection or Transport team and oversee the daily operations of the team they would be responsible for maximising productivity and ensuring their high-quality standards are maintained. You would be ensuring that all HR and performance related issues were being looked after as well as the training and development of the team, you would have 4-5 direct reports who would be responsible for the wider team of around 50 - 100 people.

To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of 3-5 years management experience in a similar environment (preferably logistics related management) along with this have an excellent and disciplined approach to organisation, admin and project management, be a natural problem solver and be able to remain motivated in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
