Initially this will be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of the role being made permanent. If you are a people person, have experience with reception admin and accounts, please apply!

Main Purpose

The main purpose of the receptionist is to conduct themselves in a professional manner as they are often the first point of contact within the company. A receptionist must welcome clients, customers or other types of visitors in the reception area and also deal with both visitors' and customers' enquiries in an efficient and helpful manner. The receptionist also assists the Accounts Receivable team helping with various administrative tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Working Hours -

Monday - Thursday 9.00am. - 5.30p.m. Friday - 09.00am - 5.00pm

Key Areas -

  • To deal with all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and in a professional manner
  • Co-ordination of all boardroom bookings for the Company
  • Responsible for all incoming deliveries and ensuring these are distributed correctly
  • Signing in all visitors and distributing appropriate clothing for any visitors to the plant
  • Responsible for internal and external post
  • Various administration tasks to assist the Accounts Receivable Team
  • Dealing with queries as they arise
  • Ad-hoc general duties as required by your manager

The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate:

  • A polite, friendly, efficient and helpful manner
  • The ability to use the computerised switchboard system and other office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers
  • Proficient computer skills - word, excel and e-mail (preferably Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Fluent English speaking and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
