A leading Limerick based Construction firm are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager for a Limerick based role. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Quantity Surveyor and will have at least 10 years experience.
This role will involve:
- Management of all Commercial Transactions
- Monitoring payments and costs both projected and incurred
- Managing of junior quantity surveying staff
- Meeting with project managers to ensure projects are run in a safe and cost effective manner
- Keeping an up to date record of all payments made and due
- Providing an accurate list of costs and claims in relation to all projects
- Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure an up to date account is provided
- Communication between both staff and client
- Representation of the firm for business development purposes
The ideal candidate:
- Will be degree qualified within Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Will have a minimum of 7 years experience
- Happy to lead a team of quantity surveying and admin staff
- Located in proximity to Limerick or looking to relocate
- Keen to work from Limerick on Nationwide projects
- Happy to travel 1-2 days per week
- Excellent IT skills
- Key communicator
