I am honoured to be supporting my client in County Tipperary, to recruit a Social Care Quality & Safety Coordinator. This is a fulltime permanent position, working a 40-hour week.
You will have skills to lead the safe support to residents within a complex residential environment. Ability to deliver and effective Safety Service and Quality Improvement Programme. You will have strong business skills and be qualified in social care.
You will be coming with excellent knowledge and clear understanding of Quality & Safety Systems, DOH and HIQA Regulations.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that clear and effective quality and safety processes are in place across the service which has 14 residents with ID.
This includes oversight of the compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements as well those requirements arising under service agreements with the HSE and any other funding or oversight bodies. This role includes deputising for the PIC -Social Care Manager.
Reporting: The Quality & Safety Coordinator will report to the PIC, Regional Manager/Regional Quality, Safety and Compliance Lead or designee.
- Honours Degree (Level 8) in relevant professional or health management discipline
- Must have at least 3 years experience working in intellectual disability and/or health sector, with excellent knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems, DOH and HIQA Regulations.
- Must have excellent knowledge of HIQA
- Have proven ability to bring a high degree of energy and commitment to the role
- Capable to lead by example in the development of person-centred services
