YOUR NEW JOB:
As Quality Engineer you will be working with the existing team to maintain the company's quality management system including current AS9100 and ISO9001 accreditations as well as helping to embed a system of sustainable continuous improvement within the facility.
In the QE job you will also be guiding, supporting, and leading improvement teams and improvement groups through improvement workshops, ensuring priority problems are being identified and addressed with relevant solutions that will improve quality and reduce cost
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
Are a quality engineer who has worked in a relevant highly regulated manufacturing sector (med device, automotive, aerospace etc) and posse a strong technical, engineering skillset to understand technical drawings, metallurgy and machining etc.
Are an excellent communicator, comfortable dealing from a range of different stakeholders ranging from the factory floor to customers to the site mgt team.
Are familiar with approaches & techniques to ensure problems & improvement needs are understood by the various stakeholders to enabling continuous improvement team goals to be met, such as
* Value Stream Mapping
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
* Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
* 8 D Problem Resolution Process
Are able to recognise where teams are struggling to build-in best practice into improvements under development, and provide expert assistance where needed.
Are comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers to overcome any quality related issues recommending any corrective actions.
Are experienced conducting internal & external quality assurance audits
