QC Chemist - Cork
We are seeking a highly motivated QC Chemist to join our clients BioPharma team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry methods.
- Document analytical data and results accurately and precisely in accordance with cGMP regulations and internal quality systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in investigations and root cause analysis of deviations and out-of-specification results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that instruments are calibrated and validated according to schedule.
- Support method development and validation activities as needed.
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a QC laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidelines.
- Familiarity with HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
