This job has opened due to the currently Quality Tech deciding to pursue a new career outside of production.
As Quality Technician and working as part of a team of three you will provide QA support to the warehouse and production line and some of the key duties will include:

  • Provide hands-on line support for quality related issues.
  • Conduct sample out-of-box audits
  • Provide support for incoming inspection of all materials.
  • Raise corrective actions with suppliers for non-conforming material.
  • Communicate quality issues to relevant parties.
  • Preparation of Quality reports for Weekly Quality meetings and management reviews
  • Maintenance of quality metrics and reporting systems.
  • Generate failure analysis reports for customer returns
  • Work with the Quality Manager to actively implement Quality systems and standards.
  • Direct Involvement in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Maintenance of quality metrics and reporting systems.
  • Conduct internal quality audits to ISO requirements
  • Manage RMA requests when required including generating failure analysis report.


You will have at least 1 year's industry experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within a QA Role and you must have very strong communication (both verbal and written) & interpersonal skills. Ideally you will hold a relevant Level 6 qualification in a relevant Science/ Engineering/Quality discipline and you must be a competent Excel user.
You will also need a good understanding of problem-solving methodologies and quality tools and be analytical so as to understand problems and identify effective corrective actions.


This is a junior day's role with a competitive salary of up to €28k doe with lots of training opportunities available for the right person with a clear long term succession plan to be developed into a Quality Manager for the right person.
