Purchasing Manager needed for leading construction firm in the South East. Ideally with 5 years experience within a similar role. Background in construction/utilities essential.

Purchasing Manager Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, the Purchasing Manager will:

  • Provide commercial support to project team
  • Prepare procurement packages for tenders
  • Lead negotiation processes and define terms and conditions
  • Implement department process improvements
  • Lead the procurement team
  • Ensure compliance with QA processes

Necessary Requirements

  • 5+ Years' Experience working in relevant Engineering, Commercial Development, Civil or utilities
  • Sound engineering knowledge and experience
  • Excellent computer skills experience with Coins Software a plus
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Team Player
  • Leadership skills
  • With the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel, both internal and external
