Purchasing Administrator- Galway

Job Overview

My client, A leading Waste Management Company based in Galway, is in need of a Purchasing Administrator to join their busy site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join a leading Waste Management Organization and utilize their coordination, systems skills and have an opportunity to grown on their career.

The duties for the desired Purchasing Administrator include but are not limited to:

  • Data entry on Purchase Orders based on info from approved requisitions
  • Updating of Items & parts on Purchasing software
  • Processing of GRN's/Receipts, including printing of Barcode labels and updating of stock on Asset Management / Workshop software
  • Filing of hard copy GRN's/Receipts
  • Assisting with Stock counts and updating of Inventory
  • Any other duties as required for the Purchasing Department

The requirements for the desired Purchasing Administrator include:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication abilities, including speaking over the phone & in Person, writing and active listening
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
