Pump service technician / engineer
Job Overview
This position will require experience and travel to a variety of
exciting engineering sites such as Main Foul Pumping stations, Key Water Treatment
Plants and Water Fountain Pump systems in Parks & Gardens.
The Pump service technician role involves mechanical & electrical service, repairs & installation of various types of water and waste water pumps. It has a wide variety of pump maintenance service and installation work on site which requires travel and pump repairs at the workshop. they must assist with steel fabrication work in the manufacture of our Specialised Spring loaded Access covers.
The successful candidate will generally start from base at our workshop, on occasions the person can travel direct to site if more convenient. Due to the dependency of key pump systems, When on site and travelling, the job can often
require working outside of hours to finish a job to ensure a Pump system is left operational.
Good work ethic and ability to work with others and at the same time self motivated to work on their own. Ideal candidates would have good manual skills and dexterity working with tools and a good technical understanding in mechanical / electrical work. Familiarity & experience with CAD would also be beneficial. Ability to follow instructions, checklists , job procedures and for attention to technical detail is very important.
