Property Tax Director
Job Overview
Our client, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, is now seeking to hire a Property Tax Director to join their team on a permanent basis in Dublin, Cork or Limerick.
The role is offered as a hybrid.

The successful candidate will be required to possess specialist tax knowledge in this area and be a member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
What you will do:
Assisting the tax partners with the successful, timely and commercial delivery of tax advice to Irish and international clients
Responsibility for the project management of clients/assignments to ensure service delivery in line with client expectations
Mentoring/training more junior members of the tax team
Carrying out technical research necessary to support client engagement and for internal/external thought leadership commentary
Focus on business development activities to grow the client/sector base of the team
Assist with and the ability to identify new products or services to existing and potential clients
The strong management of the department's budget to include issuing fees and fee collection targets
What you need:
A relevant tax, legal or accountancy qualification - CTA qualified
Strong academic record
Excellent technical knowledge of corporate tax and relevant legislation and case law
Minimum of 8/9 years' experience in a professional tax environment - ideally with some Big 4 and/or legal practice experience
Irish property tax experience required, with strong preference to those who have experience in deal management and all matters property related
Strong commercial awareness
Experienced in providing strong client service delivery across a portfolio of businesses/clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong experience and ability in managing a team and building good working relationships with clients and colleagues
