I am delighted to be assisting this vibrant multi-national company in Cork to find a Project Manager to join their rapidly growing team. I visited this company recently and it really is a great place to work.

This company know how to look after their staff and have recently opened a brand new state of the art centre of excellence with further investment planed for the Cork facility over the next 18 months. They employ over 300 people in Cork and work with a very impressive portfolio of companies both in Ireland and globally covering the med device, pharma + food & beverage industries.
Employee turnover is very low here and they genuinely value and invest in employee engagement and further education & training.


As Project Manager you will hold a key position in the organisation working with key accounts, dealing with multi-million budgets and engaging with clients at the initial stages of the project, developing the concept, breaking it down into the 'various pieces of the puzzle' and then working out the feasibility and potential cost of the assignment.
To excel in this role, you will need to relish dealing with clients and senior stakeholders and have that ability to understand their needs while being able to arrive at a suitable engineering solutions.

As Project Manager you will also provide engineering guidance and leadership to project teams while identifying and responding to opportunities to drive innovation, increase revenues and margins.


To be successful in this role you will need 3+ years' experience in the project management of engineering projects in industrial, manufacturing or process environments preferably in either the Food & Beverage, Dairy, Biotech or Pharmaceutical Industries.
A technical background in one or more of the following would be important for someone coming into this position i.e. Filling Processes, Distillation Processes, Chemical Processes, Automation systems, Industrial applications involving electrical and/or mechanical installation.

You will have a proven track record in project managing and leading technical projects and will hold a relevant engineering degree in Process Engineering, Automation / electrical or related discipline.

From a technical perspective a background in some or all of the following areas would also be hugely beneficial in the role including the design and installation of one or more of the following i.e Electrical Control, MCC, Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical Handling.
