Project Manager Financial Services
Job Overview
My client, a leading asset manager and provider of third-party loan and advisory services, is looking for a Project Manager to take care of the implementation of projects on a day-to-day basis, across a range of regulatory, operational, on/off boarding or technology projects. This will be a hybrid role in Dublin.
You will be responsible for managing full project lifecycle and Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery & the relevant workstream head in a matrix manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement assigned projects
- Work with business representatives to define the scope, requirements & expectations
- Plan, lead, monitor and report (to all levels) on the work of project teams
- Analyse actual performance against the plan and adjust accordingly
- Define, own & manage communication for the project at all levels, project, customer, Change Leadership, ExCo
- Identify stakeholders (internal & external) and build and maintain strong relationships with them
- Define and build the appropriate level of contingency into the plan to protect time, cost and quality objectives
- Holistically analyse risk across the project
- Co-ordinate testing programmes to ensure rigorous User Acceptance Testing is conducted to minimise risks
- Manage the pr.oject budget and ensure processes are in place to track costs
Essential Qualifications& Experience
- 3rd Level Qualification
- Professional Qualification in Project Management e.g., PMP, Prince2
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project Manager in Financial Services/Insurance.
- Good knowledge of SDLC
- Significant experience and knowledge of supporting transformational change in a Retail mortgage servicing business.
- Experience working with technical and business teams to manage internal and external business needs.
- Experienced in MS Office suite.
- Experience leading and directing teams in a fast paced, pressurised environment across multiple locations.
