Our client in Galway are looking for a Personal Lines Sales Team Leader. They can offer the right individual excellent earning potential, opportunities for growth and a fantastic work culture. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will develop your team's performance across all aspects of their role providing motivation and direction while remaining focused on the business's key objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and motivate a team of Renewals, New Business and Inside Sales individuals.
- Provide excellent sales and system coaching to develop team members and drive them to exceed agreed KPI's
- Analyse performance trends and other metrics to understand areas of focus and development
- Become an expert in our CRM, telephony and reporting software to allow you to report on performance effectively
- Assist with hiring of new talent in conjunction with our Sales Manager
- Communicate appropriately and effectively in order to ensure transparency in objectives and expectations
- Conduct regular audit checks on lead processes and outcomes
- Quickly address any issues (e.g. adherence, quality, productivity, sales performance) that might arise
- Carry out one-to-one meetings, including performance reviews, probationary reviews, return to work interviews etc
Must have's:
- Previous experience in a sales supervisory or Team Lead role. >1 year
- Formal and informal training skills
- A drive and desire to ensure your team are the best they can be
- A progressive attitude towards technology and IT literacy
- A want to learn the business including at group level
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A strong fit for our company culture is critical
Should have's:
- APA or CIP qualification is a distinct advantage. A commitment to undertake relevant Insurance exams is required at a minimum
- A Bachelors or MA in Business, sales, marketing or a related field
- Experience handling customer escalations
- A creative nature. Specifically in relation to motivational tools and problem solving
Nice to have's
- A professional coaching qualification or experience preparing training plans
- Advanced Excel skills
- Insurance underwriting and compliance experience
