THE ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for programme delivery throughout Northern Ireland, the ideal candidate needs to have strong operational management and leadership skills. The role will be 70% management and 30% relationship building with key stakeholders including the referral agency and funders.

PERSON PROFILE

This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise a demanding workload, meet deadlines and make strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate must be determined, energetic, enthusiastic, personable, dynamic and self-motivated. At all times displaying good judgement and confident decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Performance & People

  • Manage teams and individuals to achieve business and stakeholder objectives.
  • You will report to the General Manager and be responsible for a team of front-line staff
  • Lead and empower the team to support and embed a culture of high performance.

Manage Business Strategy

  • Contribute to the formulation of business strategy to guide the work of the organisation.
  • Work in collaboration with the Partnership Manager and other departments within the organisation.

Contract Management

  • Contribute to, implement and maintain operational policy and procedures to enable the Operation to deliver its objectives and budget.
  • Lead, motivate, develop and performance manage a team across multiple organisational sites to continuously improve and increase their capability and deliver against funding body's contractual KPIs and budget.
  • Implement and work within Quality and Compliance frameworks

Finance

  • Develop, monitor and control programme budgets.
  • To own and manage the region P&L in line with budget by maximizing revenue and controlling costs

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 year's experience in operational management
  • Excellent knowledge of the local labour market.
  • Experience of managing teams on multiple sites, including managing performance.
  • Ability to analyse P&Ls to manage costs and revenue.
  • Full clean driving license or access to transport.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with multi-level stakeholders
  • Experience in managing and delivering government funded contracts is preferable
