Job Overview

Currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to work for our client based in Co: Meath

Role and Responsibilities;

  • Cost management, budgeting and forecasting - Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate safe & cost-effective way
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
  • Managing Stock and complete weekly stock takes
  • Managing day to day running of factory and managing sales and hires
  • Managing & coordinating office and yard personnel
  • Managing employees holidays
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff
  • Overseeing haulage and transport
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs, and sign off on each cabin leaving premises
  • Manage health, safety and training of all employees
  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service


Operations Manager Skills and Qualifications;
o "Big picture" thinking, managing Director expectations and growth of the Company
o Interpersonal skills - an Operations Manager must communicate with both management and staff employees in order to create and administer Company strategies and policies
o A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles, which allows the Operations Manager to assess the company's earnings and spending to find areas for improvement
o Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions as well as fostering our Company culture.

o Adaptability, enabling the Operations Manager to respond quickly to a market changes, adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
o Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which are essential within this varied role
Requirements
o Proven work experience as an operations manager in a manufacturing dept
o Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
o Experience budgeting and forecasting
o Excellent communication skills
o Leadership ability
o Outstanding organizational skills
