I am delighted to assist our client, a clinical service provider in Cork city and County Cork, in recruiting for their vacant Community Intervention Team Nurse position.


Job title: Community Intervention Team Nurse

Type of position: Full time / permanent

Reporting to: CIT Services Manager

Working hours: full time, 8 hours shifts

Shifts: Mon-Sunday, earliest start at 7.30am, latest finish at 11.00pm

Salary: HSE pay scale (Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse)

Job description:

As a CIT Nurse you will provide quality care for patients in their home, usual place of residence or approved treatment location appropriate to patient needs. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. You will work collaboratively with the community intervention team to meet the needs of the patients while supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

Travelling around Cork city and County Cork - full driving licence required. You will have a fleet of company cars available.

Your profile:

  • You have a Third Level Nursing Qualification, RGN preferable
  • You are actively registered with NMBI
  • You have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience, ideally including 2 years in practice / community nursing.
