Midlands OUTSOURCING CONSULTANT - QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT
Job Overview
My client, one of the country's fastest growing accounting advisory firms, is looking for a qualified accountant to join their team in a hybrid work from home environment with a noted base in their Portlaoise office.
This role is in their Outsourcing Team (which operates within the Consulting Department) working within a growing area of the firm with domestic, FDI and Public Sector Clients. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity but my client is open to considering flexible working arrangements and also candidates who wish to work part-time.
Some of the rresponsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of compliance clients
- Preparation and review of sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements
- Handling of compliance taxes across all tax heads including income tax, corporation tax, VAT and payroll taxes;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Assisting with tax and general consulting issues for clients.
- Assisting with the commercial management of the unit.
In order to be successful, you will be and have:
Fully qualified Accountant with +2 years' experience, in a busy accounting environment.
- Prior practice experience is preferable, but not essential;
- Excellent technical/analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail; Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work on own initiative taking work to completion stage for partner/manger review;
- Full, clean Irish/International driver's license is desirable.
