Job Overview
FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Agricultural Mechanic on behalf of a farm machinery dealer. This is a full-time permanent role. My client has been serving the farming community for 40 years across the Cork region. At this moment in time they are looking to add an additional Agricultural Mechanic to their team
Duties
- Fault-finding
- Repair
- Overhaul and the maintenance of farm tractors and farm machinery including balers; bale wrappers; mowers; diet feeders and other farm equipment
- Responsible for performing routine repairs on vehicles; technical tasks and procedures; working with technical information in manuals and specifications and inspecting and testing system and fault diagnosis.
- working as part of a team.
Skills and Experience
- Fully Qualified Agricultural Mechanic with experience.
- Experience working with Modern Tractors and Agricultural Machinery
- Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems and fault diagnostics essential
- Ability to work on own initiative, especially when attending machinery at customer locations.
