ABOUT THE TEAM
Marketing is a core function within the newly restructured Division. We are a passionate team wanting to share the story, quality, and sustainable production of our products with the world. My client is looking for an energetic, creative-minded and highly organised Marketing Executive. Reporting directly to Head of Marketing you will be working closely with other members of the marketing team and dealing directly with senior stakeholders across the business.
YOUR ROLE
As a small, dynamic team you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact. You will be exposed to - and have the chance to contribute towards - challenges and projects at all levels across the business. You will assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies designed to increase product and brand awareness. This role requires someone who is creative minded and can work well as part of a team and under their own initiative. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious for a curious marketeer with strong business acumen, who would thrive and develop their own niche in a fast-moving environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working Relationships:
INTERNAL
- Reporting to Head of Marketing,
- Working closely with the wider Marketing, Sustainability, Sales, Innovation, Procurement & Finance Teams.
EXTERNAL
- Alongside the Head of Marketing, work closely with key strategic partner agencies, including research, creative, packaging & print agencies and government bodies
- Key account customers.
Dimensions:
- Assist Head of Marketing to protect brand integrity and ensure consistent branding across all aspects of the business.
- In dept understanding of our product offering, main European markets, and customers' needs/ trends. Through this insight, develop branded communication tools and support the NPD process.
- Analyse data, product, and market trends to help develop strategies that maximise opportunities for our B2B brands.
- Monitor the latest industry trends and competitor activity
- With the Head of Marketing, develop tactical implementation of internal and external communications this includes, Presentations, Case studies, Marketing assets, Events, Website content
- Manages project and category-specific budgets
- Execute marketing plans with excellence including Social and Digital Marketing
- Work closely and collaboratively with our UK/EU/ International sales team on implementing marketing comms to drive business growth, customer projects, meetings and marketing collateral.
- Make a strong contribution to culture, process & ways of working within the marketing team in line with our goals to continually develop the marketing function in line with best practice.
Requirements
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 3rd level qualification, ideally in marketing and / or Digital Marketing.
- It is preferred that the ideal candidate has one European language
- Commercial and /or marketing experience, within an FMCG environment in either retail or food.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills & highly numerate with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Valid passport and willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time as travel to Europe will be required.
