Marketing - Executive
Our client a large retail group are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities across the marketing department, including, but not limited to, designing graphics, marketing campaign development, digital media management including social media and the production of in-store POS material.
A marketing graduate with 2+ years' experience in a marketing role, preferably within a retail environment.
Responsibilities of the job:
Develop and schedule content for our social media platforms, email and text campaigns
Develop graphics for use on social/web channels, and instore point of sale using Photoshop and Adobe Indesign
Plan, develop, and allocate POS materials to support our stores
Prepare store communications, including briefing documents and marketing updates
Planning and executing innovative marketing and promotional activity that drives brand awareness and footfall
Assist with design, production, allocation and distribution of point-of-sale material
Provide regular reporting on digital channel activity (web, social, ezines), including future recommendations
Point of contact for store with day-to-day marketing related queries
Report on performance of marketing activity including campaign tracking and KPI reports
Skills & Requirements for the job
3rd level qualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing
Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing and consumer trends
Excellent communication skills
The ability to organise and to prioritise work load
A good understanding of the retail market is an advantage, but not essential
Experience in working with designers to deliver collateral on-brand, on message and within agreed deadlines
Social media and Content Marketing knowledge and experience
Experience with analytics and other marketing measurement & performance techniques including Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint) and Desktop publishing (Photoshop)
Photography and Video editing skills are desirable
