Job Overview

Are you a creative and experienced marketeer with an eye for detail and strong technical skills? Our client is looking to add a marketing executive to their Waterford-based team team to help drive the marketing function. The Role:

  • Publish and maintain content on kollect.ie and related websites. Must have a sharp eye for detail!
  • Prepare product images, videos, banners, text for web publication
  • Collaborate with creative teams internally and externally to produce web assets
  • Dynamic and creative content creator to write blog posts, web copy and marketing copy but mainly to curate, edit and write content and ensure content is optimised for SEO
  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies and perform ongoing keyword discovery to identify new opportunities
  • Implement changes to website architecture, content, internal linking to improve rankings for target keywords
  • Study competitor and industry trends to uncover new content opportunities
  • On-site implementations/changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and/or other programming language (via Shopify and Wordpress CMS)
  • Troubleshoot on-site technical SEO performance issues including page elements, CMS, server related issues and strategize solutions
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Implementation of conversion tracking for measuring the success of marketing campaigns
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)

The Candidate:

  • 3+ Years of Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, web design/business or related program
  • Have a good understanding of HTML/CSS and Technical SEO
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (WordPress and Shopify)
  • Experience with digital content production, content proofing and editing, SEO best practices, UI/UX concepts, and general web design disciplines
  • Experience in implementing conversion tracking on the website to assist the digital marketing team for ecommerce marketing campaigns via Adwords and Facebook
  • Love creating content, creative with ability to collaborate with internal and external teams for creative content/graphics/video production
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time - fast paced environment
  • Analytical & strong reporting skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and identify potential risks, resource needs, and prioritise workloads
  • Have a strong sense of initiative and positive, creative problem-solver and a can-do attitude
