As Manufacturing Engineer you will provide advanced technical and engineering support to a nominated project /function and you be will tasked with applying a prioritised approach in Value Centred Engineering towards achieving key opportunities in quality, service and cost.

You will also work closely with the Engineering leadership team to deliver key business objectives while providing technical leadership on all product and process issues using Six-Sigma tools.

There is a strong Project management aspect to these positions and you have responsibility for projects (both value stream and cross functional) including the scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification and operational handover.

As a key member of the ME team you will also provide technical leadership/guidance for the Process / Maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing/Equipment Engineers. You will offer engineering support for New Product and New Process Introduction and you will be closely involved in transferring and implementing processes from development/other manufacturing facilities.


You will hold a Level 8 Engineering Degree or equivalent and at least 2 years' relevant experience in an engineering role along with a proven track record in successfully managing projects. The position will suit applicants who are strategic thinkers who are orientated towards the 'Big Picture' and on a day to day basis you will need to be able to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

To thrive in this role, you will ideally be a Technological Pioneer and enjoy sourcing, investigating and implementing technological and automation advances allied to a strong knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
