Management Reporting Accountant

Job Overview

Our client is seeking to hire a strong qualified accountant with 5 years + PQE experience for a 12 month FTC based in Cavan.

You will hold a key role within the reporting team of the organisation and deliver high-quality financial reports to tight deadlines. If you have management accounts experience within a large organisation and you are interested in a 12-month fixed term contract, apply. Further details are below.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop and adapt to changing business requirements adding value and delivering effectively for customers
Production of accurate and timely monthly management information for local and group requirements
Prepare & review of balance sheet reconciliations
Maintenance of an effective control environment.An effective contributor to ad-hoc project delivery, both within the department or across departments
Continuous analysis of processes and procedures in order to improve the department's effectiveness and efficiency
Complete ad hoc tasks and reports


Knowledge & Experience
Previous insurance industry experience an advantage
Competencies
Strong financial reporting background and experience in a large finance function
Track record of being involved in financial reporting project at a senior level
Experience of Coda Financials or Hyperion reporting software an advantageDemonstrate a flexible approach in a dynamic environment
Be highly motivated and committed with strong attention to detail
Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
Demonstrate strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
Be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
