Maintenance Team Leader

Job Overview

My client is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join their manufacturing company based in Waterford.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Sites Technical & Facilities Manager in Deployment of the site's maintenance Strategy.
  • Implementing\Leading\Adhering to the sites HSE policies (IPC License, OSHAS 180001, Permit to Work Programs, Risk Assessment).
  • Ensure required shift coverage is maintained at times.
  • Compliance to Quality Standards (IATF 16949).
  • Managing Tier 3 & reporting at Tier 3.5 to Technical Manager
  • Key KPI's metric improvements (Availability, OEE, MTBF, PM Completion Rate, Cost etc.)
  • Producing reports for and attending management meetings as per sites MOS
  • Support & Maintain sites energy Management System (ISO500001).
  • Builds yearly cost plan (Yearly Plan) June\July to align with the sites AOP MOS.
  • 5s Management of Workshops.
  • Management of Sites Escalation & Root Cause Analysis from an equipment aspect.
  • Performance management of team & development plans.
  • Cost Management
  • Sills Matrix \ Training Documentation Development.
  • Management Kaizens per Month (Min 3 person \ Month - implemented).
  • Leading of Site Maintenance Projects.
  • Training Flexibility Deployment.

Requirements

  • Third level qualifications in Engineering
  • +8years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Ms Office
  • Fluent English speaker
