Maintenance Supervisor
Job Overview
My client, a leading multinational are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Galway.
Working within their laboratory, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment onsite. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the repair and debug of mechanical and electrical equipment and instrumentation.
The Position…
- Monday to Friday Days only & half day on a Friday
- Permanent Position

Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…)
- Lead the equipment maintenance team, focusing on test equipment reliability
- Responsible for the installation and upkeep of laboratory test equipment and associated services
- Undertake debug and fault-finding activities of mechanical and electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
- Lease with laboratory teams and equipment suppliers to identify new test equipment
- Develop equipment maintenance, calibration, and operating instructions
- Drive equipment improvement and modernisation projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 3rd level engineering degree or equivalent
- Working in a regulated environment: minimum 5 years
- CAD, Project Planning and laboratory experience an advantage
- Heating, refrigeration, or similar control system experience
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings e.g., electrical / pneumatic diagrams, machine specs
