Maintenance Planner
Job Overview
Our client, based in Fermoy, requires a maintenance planner for their established, but expanding business. This is a fast paced (non meat) processing facility, where staff are encouraged to progress and where the average employee has been working there for over 8 years. There is a large maintenance department, managed by a supportive manager, who you will report in to.
Your duties will include:
- Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules
- Act as the primary liaison person between maintenance and operations.
- Understand jobs well enough to describe what needs to be accomplished, estimate labour hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
- Coordinate planned downtimes
- Maintain the CMMS System by continually creating and updating Routines, Schedules and associated SOP's
- Help with keeping an optimal stock of spare parts and materials.
- Maintain preventive maintenance checklists
