Maintenance Electrician - Immediate start
An excellent opportunity exists with our client for a Maintenance Electrician.

The successful candidate must have a safety conscious approach to carrying out work with experience of troubleshooting, problem solving and equipment repair.
Some of the equipment that you will be servicing include:
Plcs (Siemens s7)
Variable speed drives (Mitsubishi F700/F800 and control technique mentor)
Motors (AC and DC)
Pressure and temperature control
Electronics - repair of electronic cards replacing components from resistors to transistors
Electrical drawings and plc programmes
Contractors, relays and solid state switching devices
Pneumatic cylinders and associated control valves
Hydraulic valves and reading hydraulic drawings
Mechanical couplings and gearboxes
Sprockets, pulleys and bearings
Replacing belts and chains (simplex, duplex and triplex of various sizes)
The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment with CMMS systems, and basic computerised skills are also desirable.
The position is best suited to individuals who are highly organised and can work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines. He/she must be a self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are important as this role will require working with other departments to complete the task at hand.
The position is primarily a day position over weekdays.
