Job Overview

Our client currently has an immediate job available for an experienced logistics administrator to join their company. Working as part of a team and reporting directly to the Transport Manager you will have the responsibility for the following duties: This job is temporary to start and will be made permanent for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of shipping paperwork and documents
  • Inputting data / spreadsheets
  • Answering the phone/ relaying info/ taking messages
  • Preparation for Customs- Brexit
  • Document control, ensuring all shipping and freight documentation is accurate/compliant
  • Problem solving and developing short notice solutions for supplying customers even in exceptional circumstances


Candidate Profile:

  • 2 years + work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Shipping Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent computer-literacy skills and knowledge of all Microsoft packages, especially Excel is a must
