Job Overview

I have the privilege in assisting our client a leading worldwide supplier of scientific materials to find a Customer Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Tipperary. We have assisted this company for over 5 years and everyone we have placed there has be incredibly happy. Roles with this company do not come up very often due to their low turnover of staff.
Duties

  • Completes all order processing following confirmation of order by customer
  • Arranges freight and delivery of product to customer, where appropriate.
  • Verifies whether product being delivered is hazardous and, if so, makes the necessary arrangements for the handling of hazardous product.
  • Verifies that the timing of deliveries meets the customers requirements and notifies customers of deliveries.
  • Ensures that all appropriate documents are provided with the delivery.
  • Prepares the purchase orders and order confirmations for signing by the appropriate personnel.
  • Distributes SDSs when required.
  • Acts as auditor in internal audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a logistics environment
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Ideally have ERP Experience
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative & as a team player
  • Good logical mathematical ability
