Legal Secretary - Litigation

Job Overview

On behalf of one the top Law Firms in Dublin City Centre I am recruiting for a Legal Secretary for their Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years legal secretary experience and ideally in General Litigation. Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment

The salary is €40,000 - €43,000 and it is a Hybrid role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide legal secretarial support to a Partner in our Litigation Department
  • General Admin work
  • Transcribing dictations
  • Document Management
  • Typing
  • Amending Documents
  • Filing and invoicing
  • Preparing Court Documents and Briefs
  • Liaising with Counsel
  • Overflow secretarial work

Key Skills Required:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good Database experience
  • Very strong IT and systems capability
  • Ability to plan and prioritise and manage multiple activities at one time
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all colleagues and with clients
  • Ability to use their own initiative and manage time efficiently
  • Digital Dictation Skills - 60 wpm+
