Legal Secretary

Job Overview

On behalf of my client I am recruiting for a Legal Secretary in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate would have 3 years Commercial Litigation experience. The ability to work as part of a team, have excellent communication skills and be able to work on own initiative are a must for this role.


  • Dicta-typing and PA/secretarial duties for a number of fee earners
  • Digital dictation and production of all documents, correspondence, reports and presentations, briefs, contracts, agreements, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Diary management
  • Excellent typing skills required at least 60+ wpm or more
  • Providing a professional, efficient and proactive secretarial service at all times
  • Answering phones, taking messages, logging daily calls, follow up on calls
  • Keeping files up to date, scanning and photocopying


  • Prior experience in a busy commercial litigation practice essential
  • Strong MS office computer skills
  • Case management experience
  • Excellent typing skills required at least 60+ wpm or more
  • Excellent administration skills and an ability to prioritise work are essential
  • Excellent numeracy skills are essential for this role
  • Eager to learn, enthusiastic and dedicated
  • Excellent time management, time-keeping and attendance
