I am delighted to be assisting a well-established multi-national food company that has been in Cork for over 40 years and who have a brilliant reputation in the market because they really know how to look after & retain their employees.
Some of their people have been there from the start and I have a friend working there who absolutely loves working with this company! Due to this they have very low staff turnover and roles honestly do not come up with this company very often.
Having visited the company last month, they really come across as a great place to work with a very friendly atmosphere i.e. a multinational manufacturer with a lovely SME feel!
This job offers an excellent and well above average salary and benefits package including a bonus of up to 17.5% (highest I've seen!)
There is big scope to develop your career in this quality lab tech job with opportunities to transfer and work abroad at one of my client other global sites. If your preference is to stay in Cork you will have the opportunity to develop the lab especially on the micro side over the coming years.
You will be a degree qualified quality lab technician with one/two year's post grad experience coming from the food, pharmaceutical or similar sectors.

You will also supervise and ensure quality controls on incoming raw materials, packaging in accordance to group guidelines, in order to avoid any quality related issue that could emerge once the goods are used on the production line.
