IT Support Technician

The Role:

  • Monitor Dashboards of critical systems & investigate outlying issues from dashboards and logs
  • Log opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor notices and alerts from Online.net, AWS, Azure, Zabix.
  • Identify and find the solution to any support issues
  • Escalate when required and manage escalation through to completion
  • Logging of all updates
  • Check daily backups & maintain audit trail of backup checks
  • Support Office 365 - Outlook, Teams, Azure Active Directory
  • Support Finance and Customer Private cloud
  • Support Internal IT Issues

Skills Required:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role and environment
  • Previous track record & competence in "Networking" including TCP/IP - Full understanding of IP routing, ports and NAT. Firewall rules - basic understanding of how firewall rules operate
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365
  • Confident communicator - ability to communicate effectively and proactively to all levels throughout the organisations
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Proven working knowledge of Private Cloud - installing windows serve, configuring active directory, RDS, windows Firewall and group policy required
  • Good Security awareness and experience required

Education:

3rd level degree in IT related field
